Novibet Review
Novibet Review Originally established in Greece in 2006, Novibet has risen to become one of the premier online casinos after hitting prominence in the international market with a. Novibet is one of the premier online betting sites UK players approve of in countless UK betting forums, online and in the real world. Plus, we are one of the top ranking bet sites approved and endorsed by the UK Gambling Commission. This means that you will always be ensured of a top class online sports betting experience, each and every time.
Some bookies manage to seemingly go from being brand new one minute, straight to being wildly popular the next. Betfair and Bet365 are just a couple of examples – they were founded in 1999 and 2000 respectively, and within a few short years had already become some of the biggest names in the industry. Of course, being founded just as online gambling was supplanting brick-and-mortar betting shops didn’t hurt in this respect.
Nowadays – without such a seismic shift taking place – it’s a lot harder to go straight to the top. In this Novibet review, we encounter a sportsbook which has certainly discovered this. Novibet is far from a new addition to the scene, having been founded back in 2010, but for some reason they’ve failed to break into the mainstream.
In this review, we’ll evaluate whether Novibet should indeed be considered alongside the likes of Betfair and Bet365. We’ll look at their offers, mobile features, customer support, and plenty more besides.
Let’s get started.

Novibet Sign Up Offer
The Novibet new customer offer does a nice job of hooking you by advertising an ‘Up to £25 Matched Free Bet’. When you delve into the Ts & Cs, however, it’s not quite as appealing as it initially sounds.
Here are the main conditions to be aware of:- Initial deposit must be at least £10
- Qualifying bet must be an accumulator, with a minimum stake of £10
- Accumulator must contain at least 3 selections, at odds of 7/10 (1.70) or greater
- Offer isn’t valid with deposits using Skrill, Neteller or Paysafecard
- Identity must be verified before receiving bonus
- Free bet must be used within 30 days of issue
While these are the main ones, there really are a lot of terms and conditions with this offer. We’d encourage you to check them all out here before signing up.
There’s a lot to like here. A matched bet always offers good value, as it essentially makes your initial deposit go twice as far. The upper limit of £25 on the Novibet free bet is also nice and high.
With that said, the requirements for the qualifying bet are really asking a lot of you. Not only must the wager be an accumulator of at least three selections (which would already be difficult enough to win), but each selection must also be at least 7/10. If you only make three selections, at the required minimum of 7/10, that still gives you combined odds of 5/1.
Essentially, it’s extremely unlikely you’ll win your qualifying bet. That means you’d better hope you win on your free bet, or you’ll have made a loss overall. Given that quite a few welcome offers nowadays are basically risk-free, though – like the classic ‘Bet £10 Get £30 In Free Bets’ – this is certainly an unusual (and arguably inferior) approach.
18+. New UK Customers only. Min bet 10. Match max 25 free bet. Min of 3 selections in accumulator. Min odds per selection 7/10 (1.70). Free bet stake not returned. Full T&C’s apply.
Novibet Ongoing Promotions (Updated On: March 2021)
There isn’t exactly a wide selection of Novibet offers available at the time of writing. That’s a shame, because the promotions which are in place are actually pretty impressive.
Novibet £10 Sports Welcome offerThe most eye-catching of the current bunch is called ‘The Match Ends at 88’, which aims to make ‘squeaky-bum time’ – as Fergie memorably called it – a thing of the past. Let’s say you place a live single bet on a football match (before the 70th minute), and it’s winning after 88 minutes. If your bet then goes on to lose late in the match, Novibet will refund your stake up to a hefty £50. For anyone who’s suffered a crushing, fluky loss to their genius wager in injury time (we’ve all been there), this is a dream come true.
Even though it’s admittedly less creative, Novibet’s Acca Price Boost is no less welcome for sports bettors. If you’ve got an acca with at least three selections, each at odds of 1/2 or greater, you’ll start getting a bonus on your returns. The bonus increases based on the number of selections, starting at 5% for a 3-way, increasing to 20% for a 6-way, and going all the way up to 100% for an (almost impossible) 14-way.
Finally, while we generally like these ongoing Novibet promotions, we would again stress that you must read the Ts & Cs carefully for each one. The Acca Price Boost, for example, is only valid if the accumulator is placed and settled on the same day, and there are quite a few of these catches sprinkled around.
Opening an Account
Thankfully, most modern bookmakers have a quick and easy registration process in place, and it’s no different on Novibet.
The bulk of the work is done on a single form, into which you input your personal details – name, address, date of birth and so on – as well as setting a password and security question. Strangely you’re literally forced to pick a ‘Favourite Team’, but that only takes a moment.
Once you’ve finished there, you’ll be taken through two more steps in which you must agree to various terms and conditions. On the penultimate page you’re allowed to set deposit limits, then – finally – you’ll be invited to opt into the welcome bonus.
That might sound like a lot of stages, but in reality it takes very little time at all. Within around one minute of starting the process, you’re free to begin betting.
Security
In classic fashion, Novibet offers very few details indeed regarding its security. The only measure it definitely confirms as being in place is 128-bit SSL encryption… which you’ll find from just about every big-time bookie in the modern age.
With that said, there’s enough here to prevent you seriously worrying about the question ‘Is Novibet legit?’ Most importantly, Novibet is fully licensed by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission, which automatically holds it to the highest standards of security and fairness.
Banking Options
We’re pleased to say that this is another area in which we found Novibet to be a pretty user-friendly bookie.
You won’t find the widest selection of payment options here, but all the major bases are certainly covered – credit/debit card, Paysafecard, Skrill, Neteller and PayPal. The minimum deposit amount is £10 for all methods except for Paysafecard, where it’s £5.
The same options are present for withdrawals, with the exception of Paysafecard. Again, the minimum Novibet withdrawal amount for all methods but one is £10. The exception here is bank transfer, where you must withdraw at least £50.
Customer Support
Considering they’re a relatively small bookie, the Novibet contact options are absolutely outstanding.
Every method you could reasonably think of is present and correct. These include phone, email, live chat, and Skype. You can even use the ‘Call Back’ feature to leave your number, and get a support agent to give you a ring at a time of your choosing. Customer service is available 24/7 too, meaning you should never be waiting long for help on a problem.
They say that nothing in this life is perfect, of course, and the Novibet customer service doesn’t buck the trend. There’s no ‘Knowledge Base’ whatsoever in place here; not so much as an FAQ. We get that 24/7 customer support renders this somewhat unnecessary… but it’s still a fundamental feature that a bookie should have. Like the lack of a mobile app, this is another surprising absence.
Novibet Company Details
As we touched upon briefly in our introduction, Novibet are a very new addition to the crowded bookmaking scene, only being founded in 2010. Having started life as a Greek outfit, they now have offices in both Athens and London. Their headquarters are actually in neither Gibraltar nor Malta, unusually, but the Isle of Man (don’t worry, it’s still a tax haven).
Novibet Customer Reviews
Novibet is owned by Novigroup Limited, which also has casino interests. The group clearly have big ambitions for their flagship bookmaker, as shown by the intriguing deal they recently signed with the Press Association, to get horse racing data and results as quickly as possible.
Novibet Bottom Line
Novibet Casino Review
Quite a few of the bookies we’ve already looked at oscillate wildly in the quality of their features. Some things will be outstanding, while others will be dreadful. We believe more users prefer a rounded bookmaker, which does everything pretty well (or better!).
As we found throughout this Novibet review, this bookie generally falls into that category. Most aspects of their offering – from the promotions, to the football features, to the range of betting markets – are good, but not great. Whenever they do threaten to execute an area brilliantly, as with their customer service options, they let themselves down by neglecting to include something as basic as an FAQ. Likewise, while the mobile version of the website is excellent, the lack of a mobile app is baffling.
Although there’s not one standout feature to point to here, this is a fine effort. And, if you’re someone who prizes all-round solidity in a bookie, there’s certainly enough here to make the ‘Up to £25 Matched Free Bet’ welcome offer worth your time.
